For a shorter article, why not read “The Da Vinci Code Phenomenon” by Drew Trotter, from byFaith online, Issue 8, April 2006? (The link to “God Issues” in the article is incorrect. Dr Jim Dennison has written several articles about the code, like the short piece entitled “The Da Vinci Code--fact and fiction” and the longer “The Real Painter of the Gospel: The DaVinci Code in the Light of History”.)
Two reviews of the film were posted in the June 2006 edition of reformation21 by Peter Jones and Brent Beaumont. The May 2006 edition had a feature on the code.
Philip Ryken has written a reflection on The Da Vinci Deception that he gave at Tenth Presbyterian’ evening service on 5 May 2006. In it he deals with some claims the book makes about the Bible, Jesus, and Christianity, giving a short statement of the truth as it has been revealed by God and always believed by the church.
