Six Steps to Reading the Bible, Study 3: Reading in Faith
This service was not recorded because it was a Bible Study with a video presentation. As a follow up to the study David asked us to read through Romans 1–5 a chapter a day over a seven day period, noting down one thing we learned from the chapter.
At the end of the study a number of helpful resources for Bible study were mentioned:
* The New Bible Dictionary, or preferably the New Bible Commentary (both published by IVP). Available in print or CD format.
* Vaughan Roberts, The Big Picture (IVP, 2003). If you have already read this, or would like to follow this up in more detail you could read Graeme Goldsworthy, Gospel and Kingdom on which Roberts's book was based. It is now published in The Goldsworthy Trilogy (Paternoster, 2000)
* The ESV Study Bible (Crossway, 2008)
