Welcome to the home page of Gilnahirk's very own Bible Detectives. At the moment we're investigating the Gospel according to Luke.

Each week we have a new assignment on Sunday morning the questions and puzzles will be posted on this page, just in case you need a reminder.

So get reading, and get detecting!

  1. What title did Jesus use to describe Himself? (verses 22,24,26,30)
  2. What would happen to Him? (verse 25)
  3. Would this be the end for Him? (verses 24,30)
  4. What do you think people should do because of this?

The Bible Detectives are reading Luke 20:9–19 this week and trying to discover the answer to two questions:

  1. Who is the man who planted the vineyard? (verse 9)
  2. Who is His Son? (verse 13)
  3. What is Jesus saying will happen to Him? (verse 15)

The Bible Detectives are reading Luke 22:24–30 this week and trying to discover the answer to three questions:

  1. What has Jesus come to do? (v. 27)
  2. Who is Jesus? (v. 30)
  3. What lesson can we learn from Jesus in this passage?(vv. 26,27)

The Bible Detectives are reading Luke 23:32–43 this week and trying to discover the answer to two questions:

  1. Why did people mock Jesus? (vv. 35,39)
  2. Why did He not do what they expected? (v. 43)
