How blest are those whose way is pure
by Graham D. S. Deans
Psalm 119:1-8
1 How blest are those whose way is pure, and free from guilt or blame, who honour all the laws of God, and glorify His Name! 2 How blest are those who keep His word, and ever are inclined to seek the one eternal God with all their heart and mind. 3 They shun the paths that lead to sin, and only walk the way of God's commands, which He has called His people to obey. 4 O that my ways were firmly fixed according to His will, that all His precepts I might keep, and all His laws fulfil. 5 Then shall I not be put to shame but shall respond with praise, in gratitude for what I've learned of all God's righteous ways. 6 The statutes of the Lord I'll keep, and His decrees obey. Do not abandon me, O God; forsake me not, I pray.
